In episode 19, "Keepin' it Clean: Clean Coding Concepts" Mike and Cheryl talk about the need for clean code and script in web design -- whether it's PHP, HTML, CSS or XML -- and what can happen when things go wrong.

Throughout 2012, Those DeWolfes Creative will be publishing a web series, The A to Z of Tech in which Cheryl will be writing about some of the key concepts, services, hardware, and software that make up our technological world. • Get the Blubrry Powerpress plug-in
• Activate the plug-in and fill out the details (stop short of the "Services & Stats")
• Create a new account at http://www.blubrry.com/
• You will need to confirm the account before you proceed.
• Log in to Blubrry

Newsletters are fantastic for building your audience and reaching out to them. Email has the virtues of a web page with two important additional traits: the information can be information not mean for a general audience (stock tips, daily deals, etc.) and makes a non-anonymous link between what you offer and your clients.

Drupal updates come fast and furious. Drupal is a complex beast. The most recent release is Drupal 6.22 (http://drupal.org/node/1168950). I caught wind that site owners are being charged THREE HOURS labour for an exercise that takes approximately 5 minutes. I just prepped a core-code-only install of Drupal 6.22.

Contemplating swapping over to the Facebook Timeline? For those of you who don't know, the Facebook timeline is the new profile layout that supposedly tracks your life via this online site (I'm dubious: I barely used Facebook in the 1980s). If you need to a swell photo for your splash zone on your Facebook timeline, grab one of the images we have available for download.
