Podcasting has gone through waves of popularity over the past few years but, thanks largely to iTunes, it's booming now. The great thing is, you don't need much to get started. This session will lead you through the whole process:
- Technical specifications: what equipment and software
- Who's talking? Solo, panel, interview or guests? Choosing your format.
- What to say: choosing your topic -- do you need to stick to one?
- How to say it: recording, editing and processing
- Where to put it: hosting components (website, rss feed and file storage)
There will also be plenty of opportunities for Q&A and discussions on issues such as finding sponsors and playing nice with iTunes.
