Restore it-- bondo, body work and make it lovely

Something else ... maybe not extreme. Body painting on cars is a fun thing to do. You often see very nice and artful custom paint jobs. Often on big trucks and tractors and lorries and such. Usually fantasy scenes with big barbarians and scantly clad women. Or rearing horses and howling wolves. It's not easy and can go costly wrong is you do it on a new car. But now you got a car where you can experiment, if the artwork doesn't come out as intended you can polish it off or over-paint it. Or leave it ugly. Just an exercising canvas.
