If there was any question as to whether Pinterest was making waves across the net, it was erased today when I encountered the first clear example(s) of what I am dubbing "pinterspam." Here's what I saw on a post about a healthy crepe recipe:

In this episode, Mike and Cheryl discuss Pinterest, the new kid on the social media block. While it's been deemed a girls' club, we don't think that's entirely accurate or problematic. Other discussions including ways to use Pinterest, and how it might evolve.

Pinterest, if you haven't encountered it yet, is a virtual pinboard. It's yet another social media outlet and it caught on with women first -- currently about 80% of registered users are women -- and this has sadly led to it being characterized as merely "quaint" and unimportant. I think it might be the next big thing.

Blog is short for Web Log; the short term is now over a decade old (it was coined in 1999) and as such, I would argue that most people are familiar with it by now. The first blogs existed as html files or as logs of information but are now non-coders can have one up and running inside an hour: just add content!

With eight characters, you can give billions of people a unique name.

Here's a list of Google products that are going the way of the dinosaur. I am a little amazed that Google does two things:
